Colonel Lennox is rolling out one more time!
[dropcap size=small]P[/dropcap]aramount Pictures have finally released the official for Transformers 5, which will be a direct sequel to Transformers: Age of Extinction. The title is The Last Knight, which may be a reference to Optimus Prime and his role as a legendary knight. There are not a lot of details about the film right now but more should be coming out in the future.
The official Transformers twitter account also confirmed the return of Josh Duhamel, who will be reprising his role as Colonel Will Lennox. Since Colonel Lennox did not appear in Age of Extinction it will be interesting to see how he will fit into the story.

Michael Bay is returning to direct The Last Knight, which he has said will be his last Transformers. With a confirmed sequel and a Bumblebee spin-off film already in the works, how Bay ends this film will have a lot of impact for the future of Transformers franchise. We will just have to wait and see where Bay will take the franchise in his last directing appearance for Transformers.
Transformers: The Last Knight will release in theaters June 23, 2017.
