Tom Hollands Wants Chris Pratt as Sully in Upcoming Uncharted Film

Oh no no no no.

Well it may have taken the better part of a decade, but it finally looks like the Uncharted movie is happening. However, the film isn’t a straight adaptation of one of the games, but rather a new story focusing on young Nathan Drake, played by Spidey himself, Tom Holland.

In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Holland began spitballing ideas for his Uncharted movie, specifically, which actor he’d want to portray Victor Sullivan, Drake’s mentor.

When pressed on the question, Holland revealed that his MCU buddy Chris Pratt is his first choice to play Sully, or even Jake Gyllenhaal.

Says Holland:

“I think Jake Gyllenhaal could be really cool, but I actually went to the Jurassic World film set the other day to visit my friend who is directing it and Chris Pratt is on that film, who I have become very good friends with over the last few months, and I think he would be a great Sully. I think it could be cool, because if it was an older [Nathan Drake] movie I would say that Chris should play Nathan, but I think he would be a good Sully and I love working with Chris.”

We’re sure Pratt or Gyllenhaal would be awesome as Sully, but we just can’t picture either in the role. Sully is Drake’s mentor and father figure, so it’s weird to think of him as a younger guy, but he’s also charming, so yeah, Pratt would be great.

Then again, the Internet is all for Ash Williams himself, Bruce Campbell, to play Sully, and it’s pretty perfect.

Anyway, time will tell who will actually play Sully, or if the Uncharted movie actually happens. (Fingers crossed.)
