Let the speculation begin.
The hotly anticipated third Captain America film is currently being filmed, and production has recently shifted from Atlanta, Georgia to Berlin, Germany.
As is the norm with big movies like this, a handful of set photos were taken last week during filming in Berlin, which gave us our first look at Black Panther in action.
With what appears to be a big action set piece being filmed in Europe, it may surprise some to learn that Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, was spotted at the Berlin set.
ComicBook.com reports that Holland was spotted during a recent session of filming. While no photos have been released as proof, this is still very interesting news.
This report could point to Holland having a larger than expected role in the film, as previous reports indicated Spider-Man would only appear in a cameo. If Peter Parker is with the other Avengers in Europe, chances are he’ll appear in at least a couple scenes establishing why he’s there as well.
Regardless of what Spider-Man is doing in Europe with Falcon and the Winter Solider (also spotted on set), Civil War is gearing up to be one of the biggest films of next year.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
