Marvel is adding some diversity to its character lineup for the upcoming Dr. Strange.
[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hile Benedict Cumberbatch is beefing up for his debut as Dr. Strange, Marvel is casting their supporting roles. Just announced, Tilda Swinton of Snowpiercer, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Only Lovers Left Alive will be playing the Ancient One. Yes, Dr. Strange’s mentor was a male in the comics, but there’s nothing wrong with a little diversity. Ironically enough, Miss Swinton has played alongside other current Marvel heroes in other films. We’re looking at you Loki and Cap. Dr. Strange is still a way away, but as we’re half way through 2015, you can expect the news to start flowing in.
