The Wachowski’s Head To Netflix With Sens8

Joining the ever-growing list of impressive original content, the Wachowski’s are bringing their unique storytelling style to Netflix with a new sci-fi series called Sens8. Not much was known about the project until co-creator Michael Straczynski gave a recent press release that states:

“The series follows eight characters around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally. They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must they figure out what happened and why and what it means for the future of humanity, they must do so while being hunted by an organization out to capture, kill, or vivisect them.”

The main cast has also officially been announced as including Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill), Naveen Andrews (Lost), Brian J. Smith (Stargate Universe), Tuppence Middleton (Jupiter Ascending), Aml Ameen (The Maze Runner), Doona Bae (Cloud Atlas), Tena Desae (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Jamie Clayton (Hung), Max Riemelt (Free Fall), and Miguel Silvestri.

Sens8 is expected to hit Netflix at some point in early 2015.

I was born, I pooped myself a bunch, I cried, took my first step, and then at the young age of eight my dad showed me a little film by the name of Pulp Fiction. My mind was blown. From that moment I learned to appreciate film on another level. To put it simply, I love movies.
