The next DLC installment for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, titled Supremacy, has four new maps and a new character for Exo Zombies.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he last DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was released on March 31st of this year. The DLC, Ascendance, offered four new multiplayer maps, a new weapon, and a new chapter for Exo Zombies. The DLC was very successful and now Activision has released the newest DLC for the latest Call of Duty game. The DLC, called Supremacy, was released today on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Just like the previous DLCs that were available for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the downloadable content will feature four new maps for multiplayer and a new chapter in Exo Zombies storyline. “This is not only the four new multiplayer maps, but the continuation of the popular Exo Zombies saga,” Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield said. “We’re huge fans of Bruce Campbell, and to be able to add him to the already great roster of performers in Exo Zombies takes this to a new level.” The DLC is $15 and while it is coming out first on Xbox One and Xbox 360, it will be available to other platforms later on.
The four new maps that are available with the DLC are titled Parliament, Kremlin, Compound, Skyrise. For those of you who have played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Skyrise will probably be your favorite map thus far. The map Skyrise takes place on an Atlas Skyscraper that overlooks Acropolis in Athens, Greece. The map was based on Highrise, a fan-favorite map that was created by Infinity Ward in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Here are descriptions of the rest of the maps available in the Supremacy DLC described by Activision:
- Parliament: Docked on the River Thames, this military cargo ship delivers a view of the London cityscape along with a fast-paced combat experience. Mixed sight lines provide opportunities for all styles of play to dominate this medium-sized map. Players can take control of the map-based scorestreak to unleash a barrage of missiles that annihilate enemies.
- Kremlin: Gamers must prepare for intense combat outside Russia’s presidential palace in the new map Kremlin, as they navigate the worn-torn buildings of Red Square in this medium-sized, three-lane map. Secure elevated positions to give the team a strategic advantage, or use exoskeleton capabilities to avoid being caught in the minefield that activates mid-match.
- Compound: Players take combat preparation to the limit in an Atlas training facility hidden away in the Colorado wilderness, as they’ll have to be quick on the trigger in this small, symmetrical map, which funnels high-speed combat through tight corners to the main tower structures.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare newest DLC Supremacy is available on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The release date for other platforms has not been announced yet.
