Paul Frieg, the director of the new Ghostbusters film, has shared even more details about the highly anticipated film.

[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]ans of the classic movie Ghostbusters have been begging for more insight to the upcoming reboot which features an all-female cast. Fans have been blowing up Paul Frieg’s twitter account, blasting him with questions ranging from if there will be sex scenes to if the movie will have more gore due to better CGI. Paul Frieg has been very quiet and has ignored most of these questions. However, he did answer one question from a Ghostbusters fan account.
On July 10th, Paul Frieg tweeted the photo above with a hashtag that said “who you gonna call”. Just over a week later he answered the question about what the names of the main characters were. Their names are Erin Gilbert, Jillian Holtzmann, Abby Yates and Patty Tolan; and they will be played by the actresses Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
If having those four actresses wasn’t enough, it has been confirmed that both Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Avengers) will also appear in the film as well.
Ghostbusters will return to theaters sometime in July of 2016.
