Allegedly inspired by Wes Anderson’s apparent love of The New Yorker, The French Dispatch is set in a fictional French city in the 20th century and focuses on three distinct storylines. The primary storyline appears to be about an American journalist living in France who creates his own magazine.

The French Dispatch brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.

With a screenplay by Wes Anderson Screenplay, The French Dispatch stars Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray, and Owen Wilson. The film is also directed by Wes Anderson.

Coming this July 24, 2020.
