A special mid-day press conference with Japanese guests Director Kazuya Nakanishi and KADOKAWA Producer Kazufumi Kikushima, part of the production staff behind the currently streaming second season of the critically acclaimed, fan-favorite isekai series known for its entertaining mix of fantasy, action, and humor, will be held on Sunday, November 19 at Anime NYC 2023 shortly after the HIDIVE Presents The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season Interview panel taking place that morning.
The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season premiered in October and is based on Daisuke Aizawa’s hilarious isekai light novel series of the same name. New episodes stream weekly in both sub and dub as part of HIDIVE’s Fall 2023 simulcast season. The Eminence in Shadow is produced by studio Nexus and directed by Kazuya Nakanishi with writing by Kanichi Katou and music by Kenichiro Suehiro.
Official Synopsis
Everything has been going according to plan, but the hour of awakening draws near. Cid Kageno and Shadow Garden investigate the Lawless City, a cesspool where the red moon hangs low in the sky and three powerful monarchs rule the streets. The true draw for Cid, however, is one who can draw blood–the Blood Queen, a vampire who has slumbered in her coffin for eons. Her awakening approaches, and Cid could finally face a day of reckoning.
