The Androids Are Coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ

16, 18, and 17 (kind of) join the fight!

A couple of fan-favorite characters have joined the roster for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Android 16 and Android 18 have been revealed in a new trailer. Check it out below.

Before showing off Dr. Gero’s creations, the trailer focuses on Krillin and Piccolo, two characters revealed earlier. We see them use a couple of their signature moves, specifically Piccolo’s Special Beam Cannon, and Krillin’s Scattering Bullet technique.

We then finally see the Androids, and they look like a ton of fun, but some fans may be a little disappointed. Although appearing in the game, Android 17 is not a separate character, rather he is paired with his sister, Android 18. It looks like the player controls 18, and then 17 joins in for a couple super attacks.

While disappointing, we do get the beloved and peaceful Android 16. Showing off a couple of his most memorable attacks such as Rocket Punch and the explosive Hell’s Flash, he looks like a blast to play.

The trailer then concludes with teasing a “Forbidden story is revealed,” hinting at some sort of story mode. We then see most of the characters seemingly dying…and Bulma!

Well even if the “forbidden story” is as strange as it looks, we are still very excited for FighterZ. Stylish and appearing to be mechanically sound, we haven’t been this hyped for a Dragon Ball game for sometime, especially one with Android 16, one of favorite Dragon Ball Z characters of all time.

Dragon Ball FighterZ comes to Xbox One, PS4, and PC in February 2018.
