While not yet confirmed by Telltale Games, the evidence is compelling.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]elltale Games is well known for creating video games that are played out in a way that is similar to the televisions shows that they are usually based on (Batman being the exception). With the impressive amount of work that they have put into The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones the idea that Marvel has approached the studio about a Guardians of the Galaxy isn’t that bad of an idea.
But has Marvel actually approached Telltale Games about this possible project? A document from SAG-AFTRA, which is the voice actors’ union, was released online and gives reason to believe that the entertainment juggernaut has plans for a video game that might be based on the successful blockbuster film.
If the document above isn’t enough to persuade you then maybe an announcement from Telltale Games will. The studio recently claimed that they were working on an unspecified Marvel game back in April of 2015. It could be pure coincidence but there is other information that claims otherwise. The document also states that Guardians of the Galaxy- The Video Game a/k/a Blue Harvest is being created by O’Farrell Enterprises. This is important to keep in mind because O’Farrell Enterprises is also listed as working on The Walking Dead Season 3, which Telltale Games plans on releasing this month.
The evidence seems quite convincing and should Telltale Games create their own Marvel video game you can be sure that it will be phenomenal.
