Tekken 7 is fast approaching. YouTube and other forms of social media was hit with one Tekken 7 trailer after another. The past few days had me sounding like DJ Khaled as I said the the famous phrase “another one” every time I came across another trailer. Over the course of a little over a week there have been three character trailers, a story trailer, and the official opening cinematic for this highly anticipated game.
The official trailer definitely gave fans a clear picture of how important the story is to this game. The objective of this game is to reveal the ending to the long lasting feud between Heihachi, Kazuya, and Jin. Unlike previous titles the team decided to create an opening that is more along the lines of an opening for a serious movie. By combining events from the past of returning characters involved in the conflict, an impactful music score, and crispy visuals you get an opening that will intrigue fans and newcomers abroad. For fans this could be the game that answers questions that were being asked ever since Akuma was revealed a few years ago.
