Starbound can probably be described as Minecraft meets almost every arcade game made in the early 1990s. The game entered beta testing back in December of 2013 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. If you’re looking for an idea of what the game offers take a look at sbLora’s newest video. The player-created an underwater secret base, what more could you need to convince you to play the game?
Sblora certainly has some talent, the underwater base has many actions that a lot of players didn’t even know were possible. The base has showers and even a hot-tub that offers healing abilities. The base is quite extensive and even has a trophy room among many other great contraptions.
Steam, a company that offers the game, describes Starbound as, ” You take on the role of a character who’s just fled from their home planet, only to crash-land on another. From there you’ll embark on a quest to survive, discover, explore and fight your way across an infinite universe!”. The creators of the game found Starbound to be so much fun that they offered the game in beta form before they had even finished creating the game. For anyone who is a fan of Minecraft, you would love this game.
Starbound is currently available on Steam for $14.99, it is also currently in development for Playstation 4.
