The Blue Bomber returns to the small screen to commemorate Capcom’s 30th anniversary.
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap] remember being in second grade, coming home from school and hopping on the couch to watch the Mega Man animated show. Now, I’m in third grade and it looks like we’re getting a new series. The series is set to debut in 2017, in celebration of Capcom’s 30th anniversary.
Man of Action Entertainment, a company responsible for a slew of cartoons and comics (Ben 10, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-man, etc.), will be taking the reigns on creating the series. Capcom will be partnering with Dentsu Entertainment, who will produce 26 episodes and have broadcast and licensing rights.
Among cancelled titles like Mega Man Legends 3 and Mega Man Universe, it’s good to see the Blue Bomber alive-and-well in other mediums. Although, I still want Mega Man Legends 3. There’s no word on how the show will be broadcast, but there’s still time.
