You want a variety of maps at Star Wars Battlefront’s launch? DICE has your back.
[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he Star Wars announcements are pouring in and the long-awaited Star Wars Battlefront (3) is said to launch with 12 multiplayer maps. That’s quite the heaping helping of the Star Wars universe, come November, if you ask me. While an official list has yet to be released, game developer DICE has named Endor, Hoth and other familiar territories. Sullust, a deserted, lava-induced wasteland that has been lacking some TLC, will also be appearing as a playable map. Here’s our first look at Sullust:
I’m really looking forward to watching my enemies burn, alive, in front of me. Keep in mind, this doesn’t include DLC. I’m sure DICE will be pumping out maps after launch, because the Star Wars universe is vast as our wallets are deep. Maps will vary in size, accommodating everything from close-range combat to 40-player Walker Assault mode. DICE is offering free DLC, based on the upcoming movie, to anyone who pre-orders the game.
Star Wars Battlefront lands on November 17 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
