Shout out to Tom Holland for coming in clutch.
It appears that after fans online gave a shout out to Tom Holland on Twitter demanding a trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home the actor was able to persuade both Marvel and Sony to drop the trailer earlier than planned and we couldn’t be happier. The trailer, which can be viewed below, is assumingly set after the events which take place in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame as Peter Parker heads off to Europe for a school trip with his friends but unbeknownst to him it’s trouble in paradise.
While it may be too early to say, Spider-Man: Far From Home looks to be even better than Spider-Man: Homecoming and the teaser trailer packed a serious punch. Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury finally makes an appearance and the Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio final makes his grand appearance. But we are left with some questions.
For starters, is Sandman finally making an appearance or was that sand/water/lava monster something else entirely? Also, where did Peter Parker get the new suit if he left his suit at home in Queens? And finally, are Harold “Happy” Hogan and Aunt May going to date? Talk about an awkward situation.
Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters July 5, 2019.
