“One of the best Marvel movies and the best Spider-Man movie, period.”
We still have to wait a couple weeks before Spider-Man:Homecoming finally hits the big screen, but the film has already received lots of high praise from lucky critics who have already seen the Spidey’s first solo outing in the MCU.
Below are a handful of impressions of Spider-Man: Homecoming pulled from Twitter:

#SpiderManHomecoming has one amazing moment with Tom Holland and Michael Keaton that made the entire theater audibly gasp. Avoid spoilers

Michael Keaton gives us the best MCU movie villain since Loki. Maybe better. #SpiderManHomecoming

Spider-Man Homecoming is a hilarious John Hughes-style high school movie disguised as a superhero film. Second best spidey film.

I don’t want to spoil it but they found a way to make Spider-Man relatable like never before on screen, that’s where @TomHolland1996 shines. pic.twitter.com/t2p8e4Tmm8

Ok so here’s the general consensus (so far):
-It’s great.
-Tom Holland is awesome.
-Michael Keaton as Vulture is awesome.
-There are indeed post-credit scenes, so don’t leave early (duh).
These impressions definitely alleviate some fears we had about the film so right now we’re incredibly excited for Homecoming, and really hope it does indeed live up to the hype.
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7.
