One of best games on the PS2 is heading to the PS4, and it looks gorgeous.
A remake of Shadow of the Colossus was revealed at the Sony 2017 E3 press conference, and is coming to the PS4 next year.

While we don’t have official confirmation yet, this appears to be a remake of the game rather than a remaster. The new textures, engine, and handful of scenes indicate this is a an extremely polished version of the original game built for PS4.
Shadow of the Colossus was previously remastered as part of the The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection for the PS3, released in 2011. That collection was handled by Bluepoint Games, who are working on the remake with Sony’s Japan Studio.
With an incredible score, intimate boss battles, and an incredible sense of scale, Shadow of the Colossus is one of our favorite games, and we cannot wait to hop back in.
Shadow of the Colossus hits the PS4 in 2018.
