Marvel plans on taking their relationship to a whole new level.
[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]side from Captain America and Sharon Carter’s quick kiss scene in Captain America: Civil War, the only real romance that is going on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is between Scarlet Witch and The Vision. (We’re just going to ignore the whole Hulk and Black Widow thing, that never should have happened.) Not too long ago photos were leaked online showing the two embracing one another on the set for Avengers: Infinity War and so that cat is out of the bag, we’re going to get a bit of romance amid the devastation and heart ache in Infinity War.
Touching upon the matter in an interview, Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen said that the film would finally be diving into that romance from the comics.
“In any other world I would say, ‘I don’t know,” but because there are paparazzi photos that kind of spoil things for fans, I think it’s safe to say that we now get to explore that part of the comic book. We get to introduce and really explore their relationship. It creates a really exciting arc for me and I’m so lucky I get to work with Bettany all the time now.”
Let’s just hope it doesn’t end like it did in the comics.
