Pokemon Day is right around the corner, and tons of rumors are flying around about remakes, re-releases, and exciting new reveals. Keeping in mind that all of this is likely to be complete BS, we wanted to post this rumor because, well, we really want it to be true.

According to Twitter (now X) user @HiddenPowerPod, the first three generations of Pokemon games will be coming in two release versions. One is allegedly called “Pokemon Memories” which is said to include Red, Gold, Ruby, and FireRed, while the other version is called “Pokemon Reminiscence” that will include the other half of games with Blue, Silver, Sapphire, LeafGreen.

These two collections will also allegedly be sold in a two-pack that will include digital codes for Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald Versions. For those that buy only Memories or Reminiscence, the three remakes are said to be sold separately as a digital exclusives. The release date for all of them, according to the source, is March 13th. The “source” also goes on to say that the Classic Collection will have Pokemon Home support as well.

Again, this all sounds way too good to be true so take this with a grain gram of salt.

It is incredibly important to note that these rumors come from an anonymous 4Chan poster and we were unable to find a single source with any credibility to support this claim.

This rumor is just one of many regarding what is coming from Nintendo and The Pokemon Company this year. @HiddenPowerPod has made some pretty outlandish claims regarding what we can expect in 2025, allegedly including Pokemon Black and White Version remakes which are set to include Black 2 and White 2 Routes and more. The original source also comes from 4Chan, which means its likely all BS, too.

As it stands, all these rumors are from 4Chan so there is a less than 1% chance they are legitimate. However, every once in awhile, 4Chan rumors turn out to be true. And I think we all agree we want to see the classic generations of Pokemon brought forward. Now we only have about a week to find out for ourselves when all these rumors will either be verified truths or verified crap when Pokemon Day arrives on February 27th.
