A couple of beloved PS2 have been rereleased with updated visuals.Â
Two classic PS2 Rockstar games have been rereleased on PS4 through emulation. Bully and Manhunt are now available to download on the PlayStation Network.Â
Manhunt is a stealth-based psychological horror game that was initially released in 2003. The game was extremely controversial, due to its graphic violence, and it was largely responsible for many early 2000’s campaigns against violence in video games.Â
Bully is a 2006 open-world game, similar to Grand Theft Auto, where the play takes control of a high school thug named Jimmy Hopkins. Like Manhunt, the game was controversial when it initially released, as it depicts violence and bisexual content featuring children.Â
As with every other PS2 game that has been rereleased for PS4, the games will feature up-rendered 1080p graphics, trophy support, Share Play, Remote Play, and Second Screen support via PS Vita.Â
Both games have aged fairly well, and are worth your time. Perhaps the success of these rereleases may prompt Rockstar to consider continuing these franchises. We want Bully 2!Â
