Pokemon Sun and Moon: Alola Raichu becomes Psychic

Being an electric Pokemon just wasn’t good enough for The Pokemon Company.

[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap] new trailer for The Pokemon Company’s Pokemon Sun and Moon has been released and with it a peak at what The Pokemon Company plans on doing with not only the game itself but the changes they are bringing to a select few Pokemon. The Pokemon Company released the trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon earlier than was planned due a portion of details regarding the game being leaked online. Check out the trailer below!

Aside from several new Pokemon being unveiled and Team Skull being formally introduced in the trailer, the biggest surprise was how The Pokemon Company changed Marowak and Raichu. Originally, Marowak was a ground type Pokemon that had the abilities Lightning Rod and Rock Head. Now, when Pokemon Sun and Moon is released Marowak will be a Fire and Ghost type with the ability Cursed Body being added and Rock Head being removed.

Raichu, just like Marowak, was given a new appearance as well. Both Pokemon now are darker in color and have had some changes done to their physical form. While it is nice to see that The Pokemon Company is changing things up so the game doesn’t become too repetitive, at the same time it gives off the impression that the developers could be running out of ideas for new Pokemon. Pokemon has always been a popular franchise for many years and there is no doubt that Pokemon Sun and Moon will be a high selling game, but these changes beg the question that many of us refuse to ask. How much longer can Pokemon games be released?

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released on November 18th this fall.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
