Oops…
It looks like Sony has accidentally revealed the name of this year’s entry in the Call of Duty series.
During the PlayStation Network’s weekly update, the store featured a banner page titled: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
This banner has since been removed.
Infinite Warfare fits the bill of a few rumors about inevitable CoD game coming this fall. Many have speculated that the next entry in the series will take place in the far future (much farther than Advanced Warfare or Black Ops III), and will feature space combat.
“Infinite” is a pretty synonymous with the literal infinite space of, well, space, so we’re confident that this will be the game’s setting.
Also, game critic Jim Sterling recently posted a marketing document on his Twitter, that points to the latest Call of Duty game being revealed next week.
The next Call of Duty will apparently get unveiled by next Tuesday. Getting listed in retailers at any rate. pic.twitter.com/eYnVX5spdh

With all this evidence, CoD fans should anticipate some official confirmation from Activision very soon.
Call of Duty will come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.
