Just because Toy Story 4 finished Woody and his friend’s story doesn’t mean Pixar is done with the world of toys just yet. During Disney’s investor call Pixar’s chief creative officer Pete Docter announced Lightyear.
The film will center around Buzz Lightyear in a sci-fi adventure with Captain America star Chris Evans lending his voice to the character. You can watch the short announcement below.

There is no official synopsis for the film but Pete Docter described it as “the definitive story of the original Buzz Lightyear, the young test pilot that became the Space Ranger we all know him to be today.”
Lightyear arrives in theaters June 17, 2022.
