Get ready to kick some asteroid this spring.

If you’re like us, your formative years we’re spent playing PS2 games like Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, and of course, Ratchet and Clank.

With over 10 games spanning three consoles, Ratchet and Clank have become a staple Playstation series, but can its success translate onto the big screen?

If the new trailer for their upcoming film is any indication, it sure can.

From Focus Features and Rainmaker Entertainment (the guys who did ReBoot!) comes the movie based off of Insomniac’s action-platformer series. The film is set to be a retelling of the first Ratchet and Clank game, meaning the duo will face off against Chairman Drek, who is destroying planets in order to repair his own.

The voice actors for Ratchet, Clank, and Captain Qwark will reprise their roles from the games, along with new celebrity talent, including John Goodman, Bella Thorne, Rosario Dawson, Sylvester Stallone, and Paul Giamatii as Drek.

The game’s original writer, T.J. Fixman, returns to script the film, and it is very apparent from the trailer, as it appear the movie will retain the games signature goofy yet sharp sense of humor. (The “In a world” joke is 100% R&C).

We pray the film will indeed capture the spirit and humor of the games. Based off this trailer, there’s a good chance it will.

Ratchet and Clank hits theaters on April 29, 2016.
