While all this news on the roster of playable characters is indeed exciting, this was not all that was announced today. Hyrule Warriors will include a unique “Adventure Mode” that will combine classic Zelda with the action-packed battle scenarios that Hyrule Warriors brings to the table. You’ll be able to progress in what looks like the original Zelda game for NES, but will also be transported back and forth between the world of Hyrule, classic and new.

Certain tools and weapons will be found in the classic world that can be used in battle of Hyrule Warriors. New playable characters can be unlocked by progressing in Adventure Mode, along with unique weapons that will only be available in this mode as well. Take a look below and see for yourself.
