Two hours ago the Netflix Twitter account @NXOnNetflix (accidentally?) tweeted an announcement for a Sonic the Hedgehog 3D animate series that will supposedly premier in 2022. The Twitter account quickly deleted the tweet but not before many could screenshot it.

It’s more than likely the tweet was supposed to be made during or after the 2020 Game Awards. With the awards just hours away we’re certain to know more.
