I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ roster keeps growing as Bandai Namco has revealed that Nappa and Captain Ginyu have joined the fray via a plethora of new screenshots.
Nappa, Vegeta’s Saiyan companion who travels to Earth in search of the Dragon Balls (and who in recent years has gained a massive fandom due to Dragon Ball Abridged), appears to be an appropriately brutish fighter who can deliver massive and powerful blows. For example, in the screenshots below we see he him use the devastating Exploding Wave (or Break Storm) technique with the raise of two fingers, and the Break Cannon mouth blast. I with every character had a mouth energy wave. It’s not fair.
Nappa can also summon Saibamen for a special attack, as demonstrated on poor Yamcha.
Captain Ginyu, the titular leader of the goofy Ginyu Force, brings his signature body change ability to battle, but he can also summon the aid of his team for special attacks. In the screenshots, we see him summon Recoome and Jeice, and we’d imagine Guldo and Burter join in as well.
One thing I really like about the current roster for Dragon Ball FighterZ is that a handful of playable characters summon non-playable characters for special attacks. We see this with both characters just unveiled, but also with Android 18 with 17, and Tien with Chiaotzu. This adds some unique variety to these fighters, and puts the spotlight on characters who may not have been able to secure a spot on the roster.
