When Rockstar announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 would be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, everyone was excited. However, many of that bunch, myself included, were a little skeptical. Sure, the announcement promised improved physicals and enhanced graphics, but exactly how much better would the port actually be? GTA 5 was already quite stunning and repurchasing a game never sounds too appealing. Well, today we got our first look and it’s pretty impressive.
As the trailer shows this isn’t merely going to be a port. It looks as though Rockstar has actually gone into the game and made big changes that not only enhance the visuals but add much more life to the game. There seems to be more of everything. Can a change like this justify purchasing the same game twice within one year’s time? Rockstar hopes so and if the final port is anything like this trailer, than most people will probably agree.
Grand Theft Auto V was released for Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 17, 2013. The PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions have been announced for release later this year in Q4 of 2014.
