[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]ith the newly-announced Mortal Kombat X game releasing next spring, Warner Bros. has announced that they are working on a live-action digital series inspired by said game. Details on the upcoming series are scarce, but what we know is that it will key in on popular characters while introducing some new ones. Warner Bros. recently launched a new division, Blue Ribbon Content, which will be responsible for development and production of the series. I haven’t seen the last live-action series, but I heard great things, and the Mortal Kombat X digital series is to follow suit on Mortal Kombat Legacy.
Toasty!
We have an exclusive screen of Johnny Cage from the upcoming series. It’s 100% Johnny Cage and totally not me at a Halloween party this past weekend.
What a handsome devil, that Johnny Cage. There are no details for the release of the series or how it will be viewable, but we’ll keep you posted.
Mortal Kombat X releases April 14th, 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
Man, look at those graphics.
