Mega Man will get an upgrade from his original 8-bit looks in this collection!
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n 2015, Capcom released the Mega Man Legacy Collection, which featured six classic games for all current consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and PC.) Now, the second collection has been announced!
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will include Mega Man 7-10 with a 16-bit look. Check out the trailer below!
While the first collection had a 3DS release a year after it’s initial release, there haven’t been any plans to have the collection converted for the Nintendo Switch or 3DS.
“There are no plans for a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo 3DS version at this time. Right now we’re focusing on developing the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC,” a representative told IGN.
A full museum is included in the collection, containing a variety of sketches development materials, production art, and concepts from Mega Man 7-10. Throughout the collection, there will also be additional content that will be available to you, including being able to play as Proto Man in Mega Man 9 and face off against the Mega Man Killers in Mega Man 10.
Remakes have always been a make or break for video games. Recently, taking a game or series of games and re-releasing them for current consoles for fans to enjoy has been successful. Mega Man fans will be excited for this collection after the success of the first Mega Man collection.
