The Marvel Universe has always been expanding and at one point in time there was hope among fans Kevin Feige would include the Netflix’s Marvel series into the MCU at some point. That ship has clearly set sail but then again Charlie Cox is expected to return as Matt Murdock for Spider-Man 3, so why can’t Jon Bernthal come back as the Punisher?
Well, he just might. At least according to Giant Freakin’ Robot. The website has been known to have their rumors come true in the past and this time around the website is claiming Disney is planning on a Punisher reboot with Bernthal attached. Furthermore, Bernthal himself made it clear we wouldn’t see the last of him as the Punisher either.
Let’s hope this rumor turns out to be true.
