Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Confirms Charlie Cox is Your Now and Future Daredevil

In a surprise that we didn't see coming, the head of Marvel Studios just flat out confirmed that Charlie Cox is your "man without fear".

There is no denying that Charlie Cox played one hell of a role in Netflix’s Daredevil series as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. He was so good, in fact, that fans have been chomping at the bit demanding that the actor return in any future iteration of the character within the MCU. Of course, there are plenty of rumors (wink, wink) that the character will be back in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home but it seems just ahead of that, Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios wanted to state that yes, Cox is your Murdock.

“If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil.

Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”

The above quote comes from a recent sit-down with CineBlend where Feige took some questions about Daredevil and was pretty candid about Cox’s return. Whether or not his co-stars from his own Netflix franchise or their Defenders spin-offs will return has yet to be confirmed but it does seem that Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk is being teased as the big bad in the Disney+ series Hawkeye.

We could not be more pleased to hear the news that Charlie Cox will be reprising his role in the MCU. However, there are many other roles from the Netflix shows that need to be filled within their silver screen counterparts, all of which we would like to see return (yes, even Finn Jones as Iron Fist). Of course, if we had to choose, the likes of Deborah Ann Wol,  Elden Henson, Bernthal, Ritter, and D’onofrio, are our top choices to come back.

No word on any specifics on what the future of Daredevil will look like in the MCU though we bet it would likely come in the form of a series running on Disney+ with big-screen cameos and team-ups. That said, we hope Feige and the powers that be recognize that Charlie Cox is strong enough to carry a feature film franchise, should Marvel Studios and Disney ever decide to go in that direction.
