With recent games that are coming out set in the present and/or future, a turn to the past doesn’t sound too bad!
[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]t’s been a while since we’ve had a Mafia game released, which was Mafia 2 in 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. We won’t see this game until after the summer, but seeing gameplay for the game, which can be seen below, was pretty awesome!
If you didn’t know about the main character in this game, Mafia 3 features Lincoln Clay, a man on a mission to purge the mafia and replace it with his own criminals that he partnered up with throughout the game. But before all of this, he was a soldier in the Vietnam War who was disenfranchised before returning to his home in New Orleans. Clay was orphaned as a child, so he found a home with the city’s black mob finding a surrogate dad and brother that he had only dreamed of. But they were betrayed and viciously murdered by the Italian mob, which turns Clay’s plot for revenge into the plot of the game.
Mafia 3 will be available on October 7th for PS4, Xbox One and PC!
