YOU’RE MY BOY BLUE!
Well, it was inevitable. Jurassic World was a Tyrannosaurus -sized success, so a sequel was bound to happen. Check out the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom below.
Set four years after the destruction of the titular theme park, Chris Pratt’s character (Chris Pratt) and the lady who wore high heels (Not Jessica Chastain) return to Jurassic World and save the still roaming dinosaurs from an ERUPTING VOLCANO.
But wait there’s more! Jeff Goldblum shows up for a scene and say’s “life finds a way.” Remember when he said that in the first movie?!?!?!?!
Alright enough goofin. Even though it was a nostalgia-minefield, we liked Jurassic World just fine. However, we can’t say the same about the Jurassic Park sequels, and that’s why we’re worried about Fallen Kingdom. The people-run-from-dinosaurs-and-maybe-sometimes-get-eaten formula, as we’ve seen with The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3, doesn’t stay fresh for very long, but, throw an ERUPTING VOLCANO into mix and maybe, just maybe, there’s new fun to be had.
AND Chris Pratt’s character needs to go back and save Blue!!!
