Get ready for what looks to be a legendary two-part television premier.

[dropcap size=small]Y[/dropcap]ou read that headline right, Legends of the Hidden Temple is being rebooted, just not in the way you would think. It appears that Nickelodeon will be rebooting the classic game show/obstacle course that most 90s kids will excitedly remember as a two-part film that is expected to air sometime in the fall. While it is sad to hear that we won’t get the original show that we had hoped for, the film looks like it could be something worth watching and Nickelodeon has kindly released a few posters as well, check them out below!

Nickelodeon is describing Legends of the Hidden Temple as:

The Legends of the Hidden Temple TV movie follows three siblings who break away from a lackluster tour in a jungle, finding themselves immersed in a high-stakes adventure comprised of obstacles that they must complete in order to escape alive. The TV movie will feature many elements from the original game show including: Olmec, a talking head who greets cast members Noah, Sadie and Dudley, and launches them on the adventure of a lifetime; The Steps of Knowledge, the entrance to the temple and launching pad for the mission; and appearances from a green monkey, red jaguar, and silver snakes, among others.

Nickelodeon also announced another expected surprise by releasing further details about the movie by announcing that Dee Bradley Baker, the original voice of the giant stone head Olmec, will return to voice the character in the movie. With a familiar voice and an interesting plot Legends of the Hidden Temple could turn out be a successful film that pleases new and old fans alike.
