The original Knives Out was a smash hit for writer/director Rian Johnson (The Last Jedi) and it was clear to everyone, including Netflix, that there were undoubtedly going to be follow-up films in the franchise. So, after the 2019 film ran its course and did well among audiences and critics, Netflix bought the rights and is pushing two sequels, the first of which is Glass Onion.
Coming later this year on December 23rd, exclusively to Netflix, Glass Onion sees the return of detective Benoit Blanc solving yet another mystery only this time, in Greece with a whole new cast of curious characters.
Glass onion: A Knives Out Mystery stars Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline with Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista. The film comes out on December 23rd.
