There will be a tag, a short epilogue-like scene that pops up shortly after the credits start, but there’s not a post-post-credit scene” says producer Kevin Feige.

[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]hen you go to the a Marvel superhero movie you except two things, to be blown away by the sheer brilliance of it, and the post-credit scenes. With Avengers: Age of Ultron just around the corner, we now know that we will be not getting one of these. The post-credit scenes that we have come so accustom too is not going to be there after the union logos and copyright notice. As Feige said, there will be a short scene after the first set of animated credits, but just no post-post-credit scene.

When Whedon was asked by EW why he had decided not to include the end credit scene in Age of Ultron after the famous “shawarma” scene from the first Avengers movie was such a hit, he had this to say:

We all came at it separately—we don’t want to chase that. That was a jewel and a weird little quirk. … There is nothing at the very end. And that’s not a fake-out. We want people to know so they don’t sit there for 10 minutes and then go: Son of a bitch! I’ll kill them!”

Feige also put down rumors of a Captain Marvel sighting, but said there is talk of a minor character introduction, “It’s not a big deal,” Feige says, “But it’s a good character.” We will have to wait a little longer to see what this all means.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is directed by Joss Whedon is will be in theaters May 1 and is staring; Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evens, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Samuel L Jackson.
