Hulk is staying out of it in Marvel’s upcoming title.
[dropcap size=small]A[/dropcap]fter the ending of Avengers: Age of Ultron – in which we saw Hulk part ways with the Avengers – a lot of rumour and speculation has been surrounding Hulk’s appearance in the next Marvel venture, Captain America: Civil War.
Fans have been seeking answers to Banner’s fate for quite some time, and many have been wondering if any would be given in Civil War. All hopes have been dashed, however, as Mark Ruffalo revealed Hulk is going to be a no-show in the future movie.
In an interview with badtaste.it Ruffalo explained that Banner’s story arc was too big a subject to deal with in Captain America: Civil War, and that he was originally in the script to begin with.
‘The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie. I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.’
It seems that even Ruffalo is unsure of when we’ll be getting a Hulk project that will shed some light on Banner’s disappearance. The only thing we know for certain is Captain America: Civil War will be missing its green giant, and we’ll just have to keep on speculating about Banner for the time being.
Captain America: Civil War will be in theatres 6 May, 2016.
