[dropcap size=small]W[/dropcap]ith the new Wolverine movie set to return in March 2017, photos are starting to come out on what Hugh Jackman could look like in his latest movie: Wolverine 3 via Instagram.
The pictures show Jackman out on a trip catching fish and going on a run. One picture in particular showed Jackman with a plate full of fish, one earbud in his ear and him giving the thumbs-up captioning: “Now that’s what I’m talking about!” Fans who looked at this picture replied with comments like “Hugh is looking really old these days,” “What’s going on with Jackman’s face?” and “Hugh, is that you? Jackman looks unrecognizable in shocking new photo from set.”
Wolverine 3 focuses on ‘Old Man Logan’ in an apocalyptic future and his commitment to staying away from violence and refusing to use his claws. Specific plot details are being kept under wraps at the moment, Patrick Stewart already confirmed that he will return as Professor X. Producer Simon said that the film will be rated R (similar to The Wolverine back in 2013.)
With this being the third Wolverine movie Jackman is starring in and his ninth movie overall as the Wolverine, it’s to no surprise that age is starting to catch up to him (or he needs to use the filters on Instagram.) Jackman has already confirmed that this will be the last time he dons his adamantium claws. It’s a shame that he couldn’t do one more movie so there could be a 10-movie special for him after that.
