Dragon Ball XenoVerse (DBXV) certainly has a lot going for it, if you are a Dragon Ball fan. Though not without flaws, DBXV is a blast to play for fans of the manga and anime series. The customization is easily the best part, creating your own character to take on some of the most powerful and deadly heroes and villains within the Dragon Ball Universe.
Though players have five different races to choose from (Namek, Human, Saiyan, Frieza, and Buu), Saiyan is without a doubt the most popular among them, and of course the ultimate goal for a young up-and-coming Saiyan warrior elite? Becoming Super.
The Super Saiyan transformation is obviously the most coveted skill, and with this short detailed guide, you too can obtain the power of legend. There is a way to get the skill early on, but it is harder of your two available options.

Step 1 – Become a Saiyan (obviously)
This should not require further explanation. If it does, well, you purchased the wrong game.
Step 2 – Unlock “The Legendary Super Saiyan” Parallel Quest
To obtain the Super Saiyan skill, you will need to unlock the Parallel Quest known as “The Legendary Super Saiyan”, which is open to you after completing the Frieza Saga.
Step 3 – Kill Krillin, Make Goku Transform
The LSS Quest is not easy to complete with reward, mainly because the events that take place within it are random, and do not guarantee the loot drop of the Super Saiyan Skill.
In the quest, the trick is to get Goku to transform into a Super Saiyan himself, though you will have to take on Piccolo and Kid Gohan first, and then Vegeta after you deal with them. Once you have dealt with these three, you will take on Krillin and Goku. To get Goku to transform, you will have to play the role of Frieza and yes, you guessed it, kill Krillin (which is about as easy as microwaving fishsticks).
After you have killed Krillin (lol, fishsticks), you will hear Goku speak righteously about nothing important, and then he will maybe transform. The issue is that there is nothing you can do to solidify and guarantee the transformation. If he does not transform, you will have to go ahead and restart the Parallel Quest. The other issue here is that if Goku does transform, there is not a guarantee that he will drop the skill when you beat him. Considering the challenge of defeating Super Saiyan Goku is no walk in the park, this can be one tedious task, as you will have to do it as many times as it takes to get the skill this way early on.
Alternate Method – It’s Easier, But You May Have to Wait a While
If the above is just not working out for you, you have the option of BUYING the skill for a measly $50,000! Though to even have the option of purchasing this in the Skills Shop, you will have to have completed the Android and Cell Sagas. Can’t earn it the hard way? Buy it the easy way with cold hard cash!
