Horizon Zero Dawn gets delayed.

[dropcap size=small]H[/dropcap]erman Hulst, the Managing Director at Guerrilla Games recently posted on PlayStation.blog. Hulst states that they’ve been working on polishing story elements for the game. He also confirms that Horizon Zero Dawn has been delayed until February 28, 2017.

We realize that this decision may not please everyone. At the same time, we’re confident that the advantages of the additional development time afforded by the new date will become clear in the coming months, as we start to share more cool details and videos from Horizon Zero Dawn. We really, really appreciate your patience and continued support, and look forward to bringing you the best game we possibly can in February 2017.

While delaying a game is sometimes necessary, it is important to note that gamers could start to lose faith in a developer. Just look at the case of Mighty No. 9, albeit an extreme one, some people lost faith in Inafune and his game all together.

Hurst also posted a link to the new trailer in his blog post. The game looks great and hopefully this look will let fans know that everything is coming along smoothly despite some hiccups.
