Hoopa Unbound Becomes the 720th Pokemon

A mythical Pokemon by the name of Hoopa Unbound is slated for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

[dropcap size=small]O[/dropcap]n April 14 of this year, The Pokemon Company announced that Hoopa Unbound is to appear in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for Nintendo 3DS. Hoopa Unbound is to be an evolution of the mythical Pokemon Hoopa, becoming the 720th Pokemon created thus far.

There are not many details on Hoopa Unbound at the moment. One of the developers at The Pokemon Company gave a vague answer when asked how Hoopa Unbound could be obtained. He said that players “cannot meet [Unbound] through ordinary gameplay”. No one is quite sure what that means at this time, but The Pokemon Company did go on to say that “the mystery around how Hoopa regains its true form, as well as the secret of meeting Hoopa itself, has yet to be revealed”. Hoopa, the un-evolved form of Hoopa Unbound, was formerly discovered in the coding for Pokemon X and Y by hackers. However, since being discovered, Hoopa was withdrawn from the game.

What is known about Hoopa Unbound are some of its specifications. Hoopa Unbound is a psychic and dark type Pokemon, who uses the rings that it carries which “have the power to bend dimensions and are said to allow it to seize anything in the world” according to a line from Hoopa Unbound’s official description. Hoopa Unbound is much larger than Hoopa, standing 21.04 feet (6.5 m) tall and weighing 1,080.3 pounds (490 kg). Hoopa Unbound has the ability called Magician and falls under the category of a Djinn Pokemon. Without a doubt, Hoopa Unbound is one of the most interesting Pokemon created by The Pokemon Company since Pokemon was first introduced.

In addition to being one of the stars of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Hoopa is also being featured in the next Pokemon movie titled Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. You can see a trailer for the movie below.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.
