Is Master Chief Collection cursed?

[dropcap size=small]E[/dropcap]ven on Halo Master Chief Collection’s launch, there were server connectivity issues. The game launched in November, and many players couldn’t connect to servers. The lucky few players who got into matches complained that the matches were unbalanced. Luckily, all of the launch issues have been patched.

[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]aturday, April 25th Halo Championship Series Cup 1, with a prize pool of $3,000, was scheduled to take place, but due to party join-ability issues. The reason this canceled the tournament, is because rather than being an in-person event it was planned to be done over Xbox Live. Personally, on the few occasions I’ve played Halo Master Chief Collection, it’s been a stressful experience to play with my friends. Although just going into matchmaking is pretty much pain-free at this point.

To repay the fans affected by launch issues, Microsoft handed out free Xbox Live Gold codes, copies of Halo 3: ODST HD for Xbox One, and a Halo 2: Anniversary map, which are expected to arrive this May.
