Gamescom 2022 kicked off its opening night on Tuesday, covering a handful of really interesting titles. From Goat Simulator 3 to The Callisto Protocol, the annual expo held in Germany definitely showed a little something for everyone.
Perhaps the title that we are most intrigued by is The Callisto Protocol, a spiritual successor to Dead Space made by a handful of the original creators. We got gameplay last night and boy, does it look good.
The gameplay was captured on “Next Gen Hardware” but it wasn’t stated which platform in particular. Beyond that, the gameplay looked absolutely incredible as the player is seen facing a handful of mutated enemies with a variety of weapons and plenty of gore that will be sure to keep fans of the genre plenty happy.
The Callisto Protocol arrives on December 2, 2022, and will be available on PS4, PS5, and Xbox platforms, and on both Steam and Epic Games storefronts. You can pre-order the game now by going [here].
