After being leaked last week, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has now been officially announced with a reveal trailer.
Check it out below.
Developed by Infinity Ward (Modern Warfare series, Ghosts), the latest entry in the series will indeed take place in the far future, and feature space combat.
Activision is touting the game’s campaign as being “immersive and seamless, allowing players to take up arms on the ground, board and pilot jet fighters, and epic space battles—all with few visible loading screens.”
In the final moments of the trailer, it was also confirmed that a remaster of the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming, and is included with Infinite Warfare‘s Legacy Edition. The remaster will feature improved visuals and sound, as well as including the original game’s campaign, along with 10 multiplayer maps.
While Infinite Warfare certainly looks promising, we have a feeling most people will be playing the remaster this fall.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4.
