[dropcap size=small]N[/dropcap]ew character posters for Japan’s 20015 live-action Attack on Titan film have been revealed, showing the actors suited up in full Scout Regiment gear.
By looking at the images, it’s clear that the film will take place in a more modern location and time period as opposed to the medieval-like fantasy world of the anime and the Hajime Isayama manga series it’s based on.
The film stars Miura Haruma as Eren and Mizuhara Kiko as Mikasa — both characters from the hit manga. Shu Wantanabe, Ayame Misaki, and Rina Takeda also star as new characters Fukushi, Hiana and Lil. A possible explanation for the character changes is that the film will have an all-Japanese cast instead of an international lineup like the manga and anime series.
