‘Final Fantasy XV’ HD Gameplay Trailer Released

[dropcap size=small]D[/dropcap]eveloper Square Enix has released a high-definition gameplay trailer for the upcoming open-world RPG Final Fantasy XV that offers an extended look at the characters and locations that players will encounter. A previous version of the ten-minute trailer was revealed at last month’s Paris Game Festival, and the game’s developer has now made it available in 1080p for your viewing pleasure. Check it out below.

The trailer begins with a disclaimer stating, “This is a work in progress. The final product may be subject to change.” Because the game’s director recently went on record stating that the game is roughly 55 percent finished, there is no finality to anything present in the trailer, and many aspects of the game have a significant chance of being altered upon the title’s release date.

The Final Fantasy series is one that has created a legacy in the video game world, and Square Enix looks to continue that legacy with Final Fantasy XV. No release date has been announced for the title, but from what has been released thus far, does it look like the upcoming entry in the Final Fantasy series will meet fan expectations? Be sure to let us know in the comments!

Final Fantasy XV is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a release date TBA.
