The good news is, EA can’t get their stupid hands on Knights of the Old Republic and ruin it. Bad news, BioWare isn’t working on it either, especially since BioWare created the original Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic and it’s widely regarded to be the greatest Star Wars game ever made.
Instead, it appears Lucas Gaming has awarded the project to a less well-known studio. Neither VGC or Star Wars insider Bespin Bulletin have details on which studio that may be but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Plenty of unknown studio have developed breakout games in the past and since there are no further details it’s best to reserve judgement.
