Rejoice Z-Fighters! Toei Animation has announced that Dragon Ball Super will receive official English subtitles and will simulcast on the anime streaming platforms Crunchyroll, Anime Lab, and Daisuki.
The simulcast begins Saturday, October 22 at 6 PM PST with episode 63, “Don’t Define Saiyan Cells! The Curtain Rises on Vegeta’s Intense Battle!” the latest in the Future Trunks saga. Additionally, the entire Future Trunks saga of Super (episodes 47 onward) will be available to stream on 10/22 as well.
Real quick: simulcast means you’ll be able to watch new episodes of the series as they broadcast live in Japan. Services like Crunchyroll already simulcast of number of anime series’, so this is pretty big news for Super to finally hop in.
Starting October 30, the entire series will rollout onto the streaming platforms 10 episodes per week. So in a little over a month, you’ll be able to watch all of Dragon Ball Super with official English subs in North America, Latin America, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
